Purpose Interior Design based in Dubai, shares some positive news on their company expansion and new projects signing in Africa during the past year. Currently working through specification stage, Purpose are keen to share project information with suppliers in the absence of the HIDESIGN events this past year.
Currently working on the Hilton Hotel CTC Kinshasa, Purpose ID is casting an even wider net to their already growing portfolios within the African Continent with the signing of 3 Novotel projects within Democratic Republic of Congo, the three hotels are located in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Kolwezi.
Having just completed a tour of the new sites throughout Congo, Founder & Creative Director, Gail Thomson, reveals how their plans to bring a whole new hospitality experience to the region is unfolding she explains ‘The Novotel brand as a whole is a great fit for these 3 hotels; providing a relaxed sense of luxury, we have been developing the new Metro brand to suit the African market with Accor and now that the mock-up-room has been developed in Kinshasa we are pleased to be rolling-out the guestroom design throughput the other two properties’ there.
Founded in 2007 in Edinburgh, Scotland by Gail Thomson, Purpose ID moved to Dubai in 2015 to be at the heart of its clients’ projects in the Middle East & Africa.
Purpose recently opened their studio in Copenhagen in early 2020 securing their expansion plans back into Europe. Currently working with Hilton, Accor & Dusit, their principal projects are located throughout Africa, Oman and Kazakhstan.
